Girls are problem solvers,

not problems to solve.

It’s time we treated them like it.

What is girlmath?

Girlmath is a welcoming, supportive, and unapologetically feminine space where girls discover the joy and excitement of mathematics.

  • Courses are carefully designed to enhance relevant schoolwork while also being enjoyable. At Girlmath, students can really see the math that they are learning in school in the world around them.

  • Girlmath offers the perfect environment for homework and study. Choose from The Study for quiet self-study, The Break Room for peer collaboration, or The Classroom for teacher support.

  • Parents are always welcome at Girlmath! For those interested in learning more about the latest and greatest “new math” strategies, Arielle offers one-on-one or small group coffees with parents.

“Do you want your daughter to actually love math and learn how to be good at it?

Send her to Arielle Silver.”

“Ms. Silver turned my least favorite class into my favorite class.”

Meet Arielle Silver,

a math specialist, educational therapist, and the founder of Girlmath — a revolutionary concept in math education: a welcoming, supportive, and unapologetically feminine space where girls discover the joy and excitement of mathematics. With nine years of experience teaching in middle grade classrooms at esteemed private institutions across the country, most recently at The Hamlin School for Girls in San Francisco, Arielle has observed time and again the intricate connection between success in math and a child’s overall happiness. Her mission for Girlmath is to cultivate a space where middle school girls thrive, where the once-dreaded subject becomes a source of inspiration and fascination.

Before earning her Master’s in Teaching from Brandeis University, Arielle laid the foundation for her approach with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Emory University. She remains current with the latest findings in child development, infusing her work with fresh insights and strategies.
