Daniel Ceja, “Mr. Ceja”
Math Tutor & Enrichment Specialist
Mr. Ceja is a brilliant math educator with a calming presence and a remarkable gift for making students feel seen, capable, and genuinely excited about math. Whether he’s working with a student one-on-one or in a small group, Danny meets them right where they are—gently showing them that when something doesn’t click, it’s not them that’s the problem, it’s just the strategy. And luckily, he has a whole toolbox of alternative approaches to help students gain clarity and confidence.
Danny brings real-world relevance into his sessions by incorporating strategic games that make complex math concepts—like probability and logic—both tangible and fun. This hands-on, game-based learning builds not only deep mathematical understanding but also critical life skills like frustration tolerance and perseverance. With several years of experience in math instruction, most recently at The Hamlin School, Danny is a true gem in the Girlmath community—thoughtful, warm, and endlessly creative in the ways he helps students thrive.
